Reed joins North Hennepin Community College’s (NHCC) Choral and Vocal departments as they present “The Seafarers,” a concert of shanties, beloved folksongs, and nautical epics under the direction of Gary Ruschman. Featuring a world premiere commission for NHCC ensembles by jazz composer Kristin Sponcia, along with music by Felix Mendelssohn, Emily Crocker, Steven Leek, Gordon Lightfoot, and Paul Simon, NHCC student choirs and soloists will take the audience on an oceanic musical journey. This performance takes place at North Hennepin Community College in the Fine Arts Center Theatre, located at 7411 85th Avenue North, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445. The Fine Arts Center Theatre is located on the southwest side of campus.

Suggested admission is $10, but no one will be turned away.
